Best known as the creator and star of the hit TV series Survivorman, one of the highest rated shows in OLN Canada’s history (and licensed worldwide), Les Stroud definitely knows a thing or two about being creative while Camping Out! Check out any episode of Survivorman to witness Les surviving in the wild with no food, no shelter and no water. We can’t wait to CampOut with Les! He is also a celebrated musician, author, keynote speaker and a proud member of the prestigious Explorers Club, receiving the highest rank of the Royal Canadian Geographic Society.

Chef Lynn Crawford

A Food Network Celebrity Chef, Chef Lynn’s TV shows include “Pitchin’ In” and “The Great Canadian Cookbook.” She has also made regular appearances on programs such as Iron Chef America, Top Chef Masters Season Five, Restaurant Makeover, Top Chef Canada and is currently a resident judge on Chopped Canada. She is also a celebrated award-nominated cookbook author, including Pitchin’ In: More Than 100 Great Recipes from Simple Ingredients (2012), At Home with Lynn Crawford (2013). Simple, real home cooking that’s full of great flavour. Her newest cookbook “Farm to Chef” goes on-sale Sept. 12, 2017, focusing on cooking with seasonal ingredients. We can’t wait to CampOut with Chef Lynn and try the amazing recipes she has shared for our special CampOut Recipe Book.

ChefD

ChefD’s career has led him all over North America and then home again to Kitchener. His recipes have been featured in Canadian Living and Foodservice and Hospitality magazine’s Chef’s Corner, along with various other cookbooks. Watch his top rated cooking show, ‘At Home with ChefD’ on Rogers TV. And ChefD has also been a popular guest on CTV News at Noon Kitchener and Vancouver, City TV’s Breakfast Television, CHCH Morning live, Edmonton CTV Morning Live and Kitchener’s Rogers Daytime. He is the author of two cook bookettes, Maple Madness and Garlic Madness, always sharing his passion for food with others and keeping recipes simple, easy and incredibly tasty!

Ric Nattress

Born in Hamilton, Ric Nattress played 11 seasons as a defenseman in the NHL with the Montreal Canadiens, St. Louis Blues, Toronto Maple Leafs and with the 1989 Stanley Cup winning Calgary Flames. He was a member of the Sherbrooke Canadiens 1985 Calder Cup team and won a Silver Medal at the IIHF World Hockey Championships. Ric followed up his playing career with a successful 15-year coaching career in the AHL, OHL and GOJHL, and now works with a wide range of companies and charitable organizations in the areas of leadership, team building, sponsorship and brand growth. We are proud to have Ric as a CampOut Ambassador!

The Relative

We are so looking forward to Camping Out with indie-folk band The Relative. Born out of the musical harmony of The Tidman Sisters who are both Camp Trillium alumni, Emily and Katie Tidman joined up with Claire Bouvier, Harvey Dolphin and Jack Lockridge to form The Relative.
