Team Captains

Many hands make light work, so it just makes sense to form a CampOut Team! Especially since camping-out is always more of an adventure when done with others. So rally your family, friends and colleagues to join your team, and together, have lots of fun with it all.

What types of teams you ask?

CampOut with Family

Host a family night by asking your family, aunties and uncles (including the ones who aren’t actually related to you) and your closest friends to join your CampOut Team. It’s a great opportunity to start a new kind of annual family tradition.

CampOut at School

Organize a team at school made up of students, club members, parents, teachers or your university professors. Then together show your CampOut Spirit by hosting fundraising activities throughout the year until you reach your fundraising goal. Who doesn’t love a fun student vs. teacher challenge!

CampOut at Work

Camping-out is an excellent way to team-build and make new connections at work with other like-minded people who want to make a difference in the world. And you can ask your company about their Corporate Matching Program. It’s an easy way to double your fundraising efforts.

CampOut in your Community

There is no reason to go it alone. Ask your sports team, community clubs and favourite local businesses to join you and get in on the fun camping action. Chances are, they will have great ideas and will be happy to support FUNdraising activities like a community CampOut party, charity auction or sports match.

CampOut Leader Tips

  • As Leader, you get to name your team, so definitely be creative and make it memorable!
  • Ask each camper you recruit to your team to come up with a nick name, eg. Frank “Rusty” Baggetta
  • Work together to accomplish some of these fun ways to raise money

So figure out who to invite to your CampOut Team and then we’ll lend a hand to make sure your campaign is a memorable one. Together, we’ll raise more funds and send more families to Camp Trillium, and that is going to feel super good!
